A few words about us

Welcome to BR Rail Limited

We believe in creating the learning experience as realistic as possible, with the use of many different types of equipment used on the rail industry which is shown within classroom & practical based learning.

As part of our Training program we adopt a three pronged approach, firstly containing the classroom theory combined with in class practical and also on-track practical and theory.

Our history

  • In February, Passed our yearly ISO 9001 14001 18001 audit. March, our Training Manager was approved to train (NSCD) Courses. In April Company relocated to new 8000 SQ FT site from Brentwood to Hutton. In May, we brought in a new IT firm to design & Develop a new Website and Booking System. In August company passed our yearly RISQS Audit. Also Secured new Long-term contract with new Principle Contractor.

  • Secured two new Long-term contracts with two different new Principle Contractor within the UK, this allowed an expansion growth for our onsite workforce. 3 trainers approved to train SQL1/2 initial and recert. Ryan Gentry become our newest Assessor approved by NSAR.

The Future

As a company, we keep our finger on the pulse, as to changes governing bodies of the rail network make..

The Rail Industry is constantly evolving, with changes which are un-noticed by the general public, to major changes which affects us all. We also move with the times by keeping one step ahead

We are looking to extend our training facilities in the near future to offer a wider variety of programs to our candidates.

Indoor Training Facility

BR Rail Limited created from scatch our indoor Track Training Centre, from an empty warehouse to
fully equipt Worksite.

Tools & Equipment available to use at BR Rail Limited

  • 3 rd rail shields
  • Point handles /points clips/scotch
  • strapping equipment (without calibrated LLT or isolation gloves)
  • Pandrol Pullers/Lifters/setters
  • Fast clip inserters/ extractors / lifters
  • Shovels
  • Ballast Forks
  • Lookout Kits
  • Tilldawns

If you wish to Hire our indoor facilities the cost would be £250.00+vat per day without classroom
facilities Hire cost per day would be £300.00+vat with classroom facilities this does include wifi
passwords  (this doesn’t include printing facilities this would be an additional cost)

Open / closed hours would be (08:00-17:00) Give or take 15 minutes either side.

We would be willing to open the facilities on the weekends However this would be an additional
cost of £75.00 on top of the normal hire rates
